All articles published in Mechanics of Advanced Composite Structures (MACS) are open access and are freely available online immediately upon publication.

In accordance with the publishing policy of Semnan University Press, an Article Processing Charge (APC) applies to all manuscripts accepted for publication in MACS. For manuscripts submitted on or after August 15, 2026, the APC is 400 USD for non-Iranian corresponding authors and 20,000,000 IRR for Iranian corresponding authors.

The APC is charged only after a manuscript has successfully completed the peer-review process and has been accepted for publication. There are no submission fees, no charges for peer review, and no fees for rejected manuscripts.

The APC supports the journal's publishing services, including editorial management, peer review, copyediting, typesetting, online hosting, and long-term digital archiving. These charges help maintain the journal's high scholarly standards while ensuring the broad dissemination and long-term accessibility of published research.

Partial or full APC waivers may be granted upon request by the corresponding author and are subject to the approval of the Editorial Board. Authors wishing to apply for an APC waiver should submit their request to ghasemi@semnan.ac.ir.
