Effective July 1, 2026, all manuscripts submitted to MACS by Iranian authors will be subject to an Article Processing Charge (APC) of 20,000,000 Iranian Rials (IRR) upon acceptance for publication. This policy has been introduced to support the costs associated with manuscript processing, peer review, editorial management, publication services, and the online dissemination of scholarly research.
The APC will apply only to manuscripts submitted on or after July 1, 2026, and will be charged exclusively for manuscripts that successfully complete the peer-review process and receive final acceptance for publication. No fees will be charged at the time of submission or during the review process. At present, this APC applies only to Iranian authors, while submissions from non-Iranian authors will continue to be processed and published free of charge.
